Urban Goddess 5

This was a lot of fun to color in. I really wanted to create a sense of a late afternoon in the suburbs.

Toronto Summer 2013

I have been meaning to do this image in ages and have finally done it! a quick doodle of the sites, people and things from the Toronto trip in summer time. Of course I couldn’t fit everything I had experienced in the image but I chose a few key things I remember.Seems a bit cheesy to do a drawing like this but heck I really wanted to do it and will most likely do another one after this winter trip.

I really cannot wait for my trip in January to see all my friends, the companies and the city!

Imagination never gets old

The same concept from the “Sam” picture I did, I have met people who are considered “older’ who have vibrant imaginations and live life to the fullest. Inspiring and  positive approach to life.

I like drawing this theme of people’s minds wondering, creating surreal and playful images.

Urban Goddesses Series

I couldn’t afford gifts this Christmas so I have drawn a series of personalized Illustrations titled Urban Goddesses. Basically surreal images of animals and human beings merging to create a breed of unusual figures. Usually seen high and mighy I wanted my individual “Goddess” to be in a recognisable environment. I have based the animals and the poses to each member of my family; my two big sister’s, my aunt and mum. The serial characters will continue. Quite surreal, witty and a lot of fun to draw!

Blast From The Past

Clearing out stuff in my room and stumbled upon this beauty I did from Secondary School. I was about… 18 when I did this.

I remember calling him T-REX as the structure reminded me of a dinosuar….it is in fact a rabbit skeleton.

I used charcoal, chalk and chunky pastels …. and worked considering how precise the detials are.

Portfolio Booklet for Toronto in January

Cannot wait for January. I am going back to Toronto and visiting the companies I saw over summer to show them my recent work and discuss possible work for me once I graduate. All four companies: Nelvana Limited, Cuppa Coffee, Solis Animations and Yowza! Animation Inc. Been keeping touch and will see them next year. Will also be working on The R.A.I.D Studio too with some of the Canadian comic artists and that is cool! Excited to see all my friends too!

Have assembled a A4 and A5 copies of my portfolio that I will show and leave with at the companies. I have to say I am proud of the final look of it and think the size is sweet but dynamic. He is a sneak peek!
